The shift knob is an integral part in the driving experience, a direct link between driver and machine. The Weighted Vans Cult Grip Shift Knob improves the overall look of your vehicle's interior while providing some performance gain. Upgrading your shift knob is a great way to improve driving feel, comfort and shifting performance.

Weighing at approximately 1Lbs (480 grams) and 6 inches in length, these grip knobs gives you the best of both worlds with its leverage and weight.

With both its leverage and weight, this improves shifting by increasing the inertial weight to allow engaging the gear box more quickly and smoothly.

The shift knobs are no longer equipped with brass - They are now equipped with steel.

Colors available are - White | Black | Red | Blue | Gum Brown | Grey | Rose Pink

Non-Threaded Vehicles are required to use a Non-threaded adapter.

Non-threaded adapter includes set screws. (Allen wrench not included)

Note: A Non-threaded adapter will add approximately 1" more in length to this item. (Example of some vehicles with a threadless shifter are Bmw, Mini, 2007 or newer manual transmission Jeep Wranglers.)

Feel free to message us if there are any questions about this item or need help finding your thread pitch size.

(To lock the knob in place, use a lock nut available online, at your local hardware or auto parts stores. By screwing on the lock nut first, this allows you to adjust the knob's position. Once the knob is in the position of your liking, screw the lock nut up to make contact with the bottom of the knob to lock it in place)

Shift Boot & Handbrake Boot Guide

Alcantara Shift Boots & E-Brake Boots

All of our Alcantara suede boots can be used as a boot cover or to replace your OEM leather boot(s) without having to add the stabilizer option. This is because they are made with a rubber backing which makes them a little thicker than the usual cotton boot covers out in the market.

See product description to find out if the material being used is Alcantara. (Majority of our boots are.)

Boots Without Stabilizer

Without the stabilizer, these are boot covers and are made to cover over your oem leather boot. A quick and easy styling option for those who tend to switch up their interior scheme often or don't really find it necessary of going the extra mile by simply slipping the boot cover over your oem leather boot.

Boots With Stabilizer

With the stabilizer, these are considered as an alternative replacement for your oem shift boot/e-brake boot leather. The stabilizer is stitched onto the inner side of the boot, which add some thickness and stability, in which it allows the boot to hold itself up from sagging. However, they can still be used as boot covers but keep in mind that they are a little thicker.

Use an X-acto knife or razor blade to make clip hole incisions to put boot clips through if needed and tuck the remaining material length rather than cutting or trimming the boot(s).

(Cutting/Trimming will open a seam between the boot cover and stabilizer)

If cutting is necessary; use multi-purpose adhesive spray glue to adhere the open seams back together.

 E-Brake Boot

Can be used as a boot cover or replace oem leather boot. E-brake boot may require self modifications, along with the use of multi-purpose adhesive glue.

Removing oem leather and using adhesive glue is suggested for 08+ Subaru Wrx/Sti, Subaru Legacy, Subaru Brz, Scion Frs, Toyota GT86. However, it may or may not be necessary.

Shift Knob Installation Guide

Use the correct thread pitch lock nut for your vehicle (same threads as your shift knob) available at your local auto parts stores, hardware stores or online to lock the shift knob in place rather than bottoming out or over-tightening the knob.

Screw the lock nut all the way down then screw on the shift knob. Position the knob to your liking while leaving a little space in between the shift knob & nut, then twist the lock nut up to make contact with the bottom of the knob. This will allow the shift knob to lock in place rather than damaging it by over-tightening.

Steering Wheel Guide

You will need a hub adapter/boss kit that is specific for your vehicle to convert your steering column from a spline design to a universal six bolt pattern for an aftermarket steering wheel set up.

All Shift Royal steering wheels utilize a 70mm PCD six bolt pattern. Therefore, many manufacturers produce products that are compatible. (Such as Momo, Sparco)

Door Panel Trim Installation Guide

You will need a blade, scissors and a bottle of multi-purpose adhesive spray glue.

1st step - You will need to remove your door panel. Once panel is removed, place the fabric over the panel as a test fit to get a visual idea of how to work with it.

2nd step - Use the multi-purpose adhesive spray glue on your panel trim then carefully place our fabric over the panel. Make sure to fix any creases and that the fabric is adhered correctly.

Final Step - Once the fabric is adhered after letting the adhesive dry a little, you'll then need to make incisions with a blade to any necessary areas. Once complete, proceed to re-installing the panel back on to your door.

For Headliner, steps are similar to door panels.

Face Masks

Our face masks are NOT medical grade masks (i.e. grade FFP2/N95)

The purpose of our masks are to help slow and reduce spread and help those who may have the virus and do not know it from transmitting it to others as advised by CDC.

CDC recommends wearing face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain (e.g., grocery stores and pharmacies), especially in areas of significant community-based transmission.

The face coverings recommended are not surgical masks or N-95 respirators.  Those are critical supplies that must continue to be reserved for healthcare workers and other medical first responders, as recommended by current CDC guidance.

Keep in mind that the use of a mask alone is not sufficient to provide an adequate level of protection. Physical distancing and hand hygiene should be adopted.

Do not purchase our masks with the false understanding they will prevent infection.
